DR. CHRISTINA DEAN, Founder and Board Chair

Christina is a sustainable fashion advocate who for over 15 years has championed better practices in fashion. Since founding Redress in 2007, she has steered the organisation’s course from a small and brave startup to its position today in influencing a more sustainable future for fashion globally. Now as Board Chair, Christina delivers Redress' message to the world through talks, seminars and thought-leadership pieces. She was listed as one of British Vogue’s ‘Top 30 Inspirational Women’; she is on Tatler Asia’s ‘The Impact List’ as one of the most influential individuals defining the future of Asia; and UBS lists her as a Global Visionary. She co-authored Dress [with] Sense; co-hosts the award-winning documentary series ‘Frontline Fashion’; and her TEDx talk ‘You are What You Wear’ has been widely viewed. Christina has written opinion pieces for CNN Style, Huffington Post, and Modern Media, and is widely quoted in global media. To Christina, ‘Redress’ — to remedy or set right — is the only future for fashion.

NISSA CORNISH, Executive Director

With over 15 years experience in the environmental nonprofit sector, Nissa leads the Redress team from our Hong Kong office, driving our vision and mission; overseeing strategy and planning; and managing daily operations. Prior to this role she headed up production for our flagship programme, the Redress Design Award, as our Events Director. Before joining Redress, Nissa was concurrently the Editor in Chief at award-winning sustainable lifestyle magazine Ecozine, and Event Director at the Hong Kong Cleanup, a nonprofit focused on waste reduction. Nissa believes that everyone – consumers, brands, policy-makers – needs to come to the table if we want to ensure a sustainable future.

ARTHUR MAK, Redress Design Award Programme Director

As a former professional dancer and performer, Arthur possesses a deep passion for the performing arts. With extensive experience in managing diverse programs, including theatre productions, dance competitions, and arts festivals, he has served as the managing director of both a dance academy and a nonprofit arts organisation. His background in arts production and management provides him with the necessary skills to lead the Redress Design Award team with enthusiasm and dedication. Arthur is fully committed to driving Redress’ mission forward, ensuring the organisation's programmes are impactful and successful.

HANNAH LANE, Development Director

Hannah is responsible for developing programme strategy and corralling support and sponsorship for our cause, and heads the development of the Redress Design Award Alumni Network. She is also the co-author of Redress’ consumer guide, Dress [with] Sense. Hannah has over 15 years experience working in the sustainability field, four of which were in China where she headed up sustainability consultancy OgilvyEarth China and sat on the advisory board and organising committee for the Eco-Design Fair Shanghai. She is currently an advisor for the CNMI Sustainable Fashion Awards. Hannah believes that an urgent change is needed in the fashion industry and our consumption habits to protect the future of all species living on our planet (including humans!).

AURIANNE RICQUIER, Circular Fashion Programme Director

Aurianne leads our Circular Fashion Programme team, which works hard to reduce post-consumer textile waste by increasing the reuse, resale, and recycling of clothing locally. Joining Redress after having led a Hong Kong-based NGO working on youth education, Aurianne believes in the power of education to change minds and drive positive change in society. She also spent eight years managing fashion supply chain operations in Europe and Asia, through which she became acutely aware of the fashion industry’s environmental and social issues and determined to change the way clothes are made and consumed.

MATTHIEU AMELIN, Events & Creative Lead

Matthieu oversees the production and creative aspects across all Redress events. With a solid background working in a variety of sectors (television, art, luxury and corporate) in both France and Hong Kong, he has built a strong knowledge of event organisation and production, always putting creativity at the centre of his work. As an observer of the fashion industry for many years, Matthieu believes that sustainability is not only another trend making its way in mainstream culture, but a real opportunity for designers to provoke change in their own creative process and ultimately in consumers’ minds.

MORGANE PARIZOT, Strategic Education Director

Morgane leads the strategy on all education matters across both the Circular Fashion and Redress Design Award programmes. She ensures we hold and deliver the most up-to-date and relevant expertise on circular fashion.Trained as a chemist and holding an MSc from the French Textile Engineering School ENSAIT, Morgane has a deep understanding of the fashion value chain and a strong knowledge in textiles. She has over ten years of experience in the apparel industry with companies such as Adidas, PVH, and Lacoste, holding positions in product development, innovation, and sustainability. A firm believer that adopting circular practices is the only future possible, Morgane is driven by developing innovative solutions that generate positive impact.

MARIANNE MCLEAN-ATKINS, Redress Design Award Education Lead

Marianne has over 20 years’ work experience in the apparel industry as a designer and product developer, working with a diverse range of international brands and suppliers in Asia, including Shanghai for 8 years and Hong Kong for over 10 years. With a degree in textile design and a master’s in supply chain management, logistics and procurement, her industry knowledge and experience is a critical fit to our team. Marianne leads our education team at Redress and is humbled to be in a position that can support design professionals as they look to what the future of sustainable fashion is. Inspired by communication and motivated by accountability, she firmly believes that we can no longer wait for others to make better decisions for us.

KINSON LO, Redress Design Award Sponsorship Manager

Kinson is responsible for maintaining strong relationships with strategic and financial sponsors and partners within the Redress Design Award programme, to support our mission in driving circular models for fashion. Kinson has a strong fashion and business development background previously working in various positions in fashion retail, with manufacturers, production and marketing agencies in Beijing, Düsseldorf, Tokyo and Hong Kong. He wholeheartedly believes that sustainable fashion initiatives can transform the industry for the better.

SHIRLEY AUN, Communications Manager

Shirley leads our dynamic communications team in driving the core messages behind Redress and the Redress Design Award programme to a broad range of stakeholders. With eleven years of experience in hospitality, mainly focusing on marketing, business development and corporate partnerships, Shirley is experienced in strategising corporate sustainability programs and achieving positive change through the power of communities around her. Shirley joins Redress with a passion to advocate and spotlight the urgency of actions we need to take today for a truly sustainable future.

KITTY TOO, Office & Accounts Manager

Kitty is the “mum” of the Redress office, taking care of a wide range of organisational needs. Her responsibilities include accounting, auditing, administration, human resources, company secretarial work, taxation, office management, and establishing workflow and policies. Kitty loves helping people and is passionate about Redress’ mission in reducing clothing's negative environmental impact. She is proud to serve the team and loves her Redress family.

TIFFANY LEUNG, Circular Fashion Programme Manager - School Education

Tiffany is responsible for leading the school programme at Redress, engaging with primary and secondary schools across Hong Kong through age-appropriate learning activities. With over 15 years experience in the education sector, she brings expertise in curriculum development for young learners. Tiffany teaches about the link between fashion and the environment, urging young people to rethink their consumption habits and encouraging mindsets of circularity, such as by rewearing clothes. She also inspires students towards sustainable solutions by leading hands-on upcycling projects. Tiffany believes that by educating the next generation, we have a better chance of achieving a sustainable future.

YOLANDA CHOW, Sustainability Writer

Yolanda advocates for sustainable practices in fashion through writing for Redress. From press releases to the Redress Design Award annual magazine, her storytelling drives awareness and inspires action. She supports the wider team on editing and proofreading, and works with the Communications Manager in defining and developing the brand voice across platforms and programmes. Yolanda is passionate about sustainability and encouraging mindsets and habits of care towards people and the planet.

FRANCHESCA DE LUNA, Marketing & PR Executive 

Franchesca is responsible for enhancing Redress’ online presence, working alongside the Communications Manager on a range of activities from social media management to press releases. Graduating from the University of Hong Kong, where she studied politics and concentrated on sustainable development, Franchesca is deeply committed to promoting sustainability. She believes in Redress’ vision and hopes that, through her work, she can encourage sustainable practices not only in the fashion industry, but also in everyday life.

CEEJAY RIVERA, Project Associate

Ceejay supports the Events Director and related Redress team in planning, logistics, and all event needs, with a particular focus on the annual Redress Design Award programme. Ceejay’s background in events production and planning includes a BA in International Festival and Events Management from Edinburgh Napier University, as well as various related volunteer and internship experiences. She believes that events are a great platform to introduce consumers to sustainability trends and strategies in the fashion industry.

RACHEL LAU, Circular Fashion Programme Officer

Rachel supports the Circular Fashion Programme Manager, particularly focusing on primary and secondary school education programmes. With a genuine interest in environmental topics, Rachel hopes to bring environmental awareness to the wider community in Hong Kong through education, which she deeply believes is a powerful way to induce long-term behaviour changes for sustainable consumption.

HILLARY FONG, Event Production Assistant

Hillary strives for excellence. Working with the Events & Creative Lead, he provides diverse logistics planning and operational support for all Redress events. Hillary wholly embraces the life attitude of supporting sustainability with fashion. He has graduated from studies in public relations and digital communication. Hillary works with a passion to advocate for the importance of having events, which serve to minimise distances between people and influence life with life.

JANNY AU, Office Administrator

Janny supports the Redress team in keeping the office running smoothly. She brings 10+ years of experience in administrative and human resources management, plus 15+ years of experience in secretarial support to a board of directors, senior management, and corporate governance. Janny is also passionate about environmental protection, especially wildlife conservation. She has 15+ years of volunteering experience, including organising events and serving as a treasurer for nonprofits. Janny is proud to be part of Redress and happy to support all colleagues.

RUBY LI, Shop Manager

Ruby oversees the operations of our curated secondhand clothing shop, The Redress Closet. She also takes care of the shop’s merchandising, maintaining quality customer service, and communicating with customers about Redress’ work. In addition, she manages Redress’ biannual pop-up shops, supporting the curation of its stock. Ruby joins Redress with diverse experience in art consulting, shop management in art galleries, and marketing and business development at multinational corporations, including Joyce Boutique.
